CHILLIWACK (NEWS 1130) — Mounties in Chilliwack hope other victims will come forward now that a man employed as a physiotherapist at a health clinic is facing sexual assault charges.

38-year-old Sanjay Amrutkar was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault, according to a release from RCMP sent Friday.

The alleged assaults happened in August and September of 2019 while he was working as a physiotherapist, where he worked has not been revealed.

“Our investigators are aware that there may be other victims who have not reported an encounter to police,” says Cst. Jennifer Thomson. “To further our investigation we encourage those persons to contact police.”
