Chilliwack physiotherapist faces four new charges of sexual assault

CHILLIWACK (NEWS 1130) – There may be additional victims we don’t know about.
That’s the message from Chilliwack RCMP, as they announce four additional charges of sexual assault against a physiotherapist.
38-year-old Sanjay Amrutkar was charged with two counts of sexual assault following two alleged assaults that happened in August and September of last year.
Amrutkar was working as a physiotherapist at a health clinic at the time.
As a result of the investigation, four additional people have come forward alleging that Amrutkar also assaulted them.
He’s now being charged with four more charges of sexual assault.
Amrutkar was arrested on March 4th and has since been released from custody.
He’s set to appear in court later this month.
Police are encouraging anyone who believes they may have been victimized to come forward.
