VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – BC Ferries travellers can expect to make the crossings without getting out of their vehicles.
Ottawa is expected to officially announce that passengers will be able to stay inside their cars while they make the crossings.

Transport Canada to announce Tuesday that it’s going to be loosening its restrictions to allow ferry passengers to remain in their vehicles while making the crossings.

Under the current rules, ferry passengers are forced onto the upper decks of BC Ferries due to safety concerns.
