BC Ferries passengers will soon be able to stay inside vehicles during sailings

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – BC Ferries travellers can expect to make the crossings without getting out of their vehicles.
Ottawa is expected to officially announce that passengers will be able to stay inside their cars while they make the crossings.
@NEWS1130 has learned that Ottawa is poised to throw BC Ferries a bone to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

The provincial government has been pressing Transport Canada to loosen its restrictions to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Under the current rules, ferry passengers are forced onto the upper decks of BC Ferries due to safety concerns.
