Man sustains life-threatening injuries in Downtown Eastside stabbing

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — A 27-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries when stabbed Sunday on the Downtown Eastside.
The Vancouver Police Department believes he was stabbed at Main and Hastings streets early in the morning.
The man made his way to Dunlevy and East Hastings streets, where he was picked up and driven to a local hospital, where he remains.

“This man is battling for his life and we believe that someone knows something about this assault and can assist investigators in finding out what happened,” Sgt. Aaron Roed says in a release.
“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything regarding this assault to please call investigators.”
