Coquitlam boy who collided with SUV now recovering at home

COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) — A 10-year-old boy who was in critical condition after colliding with a SUV while riding his bike is now recovering at home, according to Coquitlam RCMP.
Cpl. Michael McLaughlin provided the update Monday.

The boy was riding his bike when he and a black Infinity QX60 hit each other at the intersection of Parkway Boulevard and Forest Ridge Place on Thursday, April 30 around 6 p.m.
The boy was rushed to hospital and initially reported in critical condition.
The driver stayed at the scene of the crash. Officers have ruled out the possibility the driver was impaired by drugs or alcohol.
