Video submissions open to make appearance in next Bill & Ted movie

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Fans have the chance to make an appearance in the next Bill & Ted movie.

Producers of the upcoming sequel to the Keanu Reeves comedy are asking fans to create and submit a video of themselves doing something musical.

That video could make its way into the film.

The deadline for submissions is May 20th, which can be entered through the movie’s website.

“Be yourself – are you are now. Or, if you’re feeling it, be someone from another time or place. We want it all!” the site reads.

There are a few more rules on how to film the submission, but for the most part, as long as it’s musical and done safely, producers want to see it.

Bill and Ted 3, called Bill and Ted Face the Music, is set for release in August.

It’s been almost 30 years since the last movie, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, was released.

The first movie debuted in 1989.
