DELTA (NEWS 1130) — A North Delta family has turned to the public to help find 88-year-old Jarnail Sanghera, who has been missing since Friday.
Sanghera’s grandson Rajpaul Faghura says it’s been a long haul for the family, as his grandfather has dementia, and is a frequent transit user.
He adds that his grandfather’s clothing may be dirty as he’s been on his own for five days, but he asks anyone who sees him help and call 9-1-1.
“The presumption for somebody to look different and maybe have dirty clothes or something that they might not be approachable, but please just look at his picture and video footage,” Faghura says.
“He’s approachable. He’s not somebody who you need to be worried about or scared of because, at this point, he could look completely different.”
Police continue to search for Punjabi-speaking 88-year-old Jarnail SANGHERA, missing from North Delta since May 15. Officers have been following up tips, so please keep sharing his image, and that of his hand tattoo. Updated clothing description at https://t.co/I2ZhIOD6dE pic.twitter.com/PnHiZSzZhT
