LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — As businesses start reopening doors to customers, one gym owner in Langley says he’s going to wait a few weeks longer.
Mike Bozek, the owner of Ninja Sports Club, says he’s going to take some extra time to prepare and open June 1 instead.
“The number one priority we have is to make sure our staff and our customers remain safe,” he says.
When the facility is ready, Bozek says there will be more regular cleaning throughout the day, as well as having more supplies available.
“We’re going to maintain two-metre distancing. We’re going to have so many sanitization stations, spray bottles, extra garbage bins laying around to make it easy to wipe stuff down, keep it clean,” he explains.

Bozek says an overwhelming number of people he’s spoken with say they will return, but have concerns
“And I totally understand. The customer needs to be confident the places they’re coming to need to be safe and clean,” he says.
But after more than two months away, Bozek says many people are raring to get back to their regular workouts.
