VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Two men have suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation in an East Vancouver house fire Wednesday afternoon.
According to Assistant Fire Chief Ken Gemmill, the home at E 46th Ave and Prince Edward St is almost a total loss.
“Fire crews arrived to see large flames coming from the rear of the house,” he tells NEWS 1130. “Several occupants of the house, were in the front and backyard.”
Four children inside the home are fine but there is no word yet on what caused the fire.
The fire has been put out.
