Before embarking on his cross-country run, Terry reached out to organizations for donations. One of them was Adidas, which provided him with Orion running shoes.
In 2005, Adidas released a replica shoe for the 25th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope.
Well, that didn't take long. The replica shoe Adidas was selling to raise money for @TerryFoxCanada sold out almost instantly this morning. Did you try to buy?

Fox began his Marathon of Hope on April 12, 1980, to raise money and awareness for the disease that took his leg and, eventually, his life.
Fox passed away on June 28, 1981 in New Westminster, due to cancer that had spread to his lungs, one month short of his 23rd birthday.
To date, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised more than $800 million for cancer awareness and research.
