Suspicious death of woman in Surrey prompts investigation

SURREY (NEWS 1130) — The death of a woman in her 30s is being treated as suspicious by Surrey RCMP.
She was dropped off at a Surrey Memorial Hospital around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday with significant injuries, but officers aren’t sure how she was hurt.
The woman later died in hospital.

The hospital had contacted police after the woman was dropped off.
Mounties had been investigating the area of 168 Street and 28 Avenue, since the woman may have been there earlier in the morning or Tuesday.
