VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — If you’re trying to beat the heat this weekend, the City of Vancouver says several spray parks reopened to the public on Saturday.
Ten spray parks have reopened, including MacLean, Stanley, Price Edward and Grandview Park.
Meantime, lifeguards are set to return to beaches as of July 13, and four outdoor pools will reopen around the same time.
And for those wanting to jump back into the pool, the City of Vancouver has released updated safety measures.
These include closed change rooms and swimmers allowed in time blocks.
“The Park Board continues to review the feasibility of reopening other facilities and services and will make adjustments to its operations based on the latest information provided by Vancouver Coastal Health, the Provincial Health Officer, and industry partners,” the city website reads.
