SURREY (NEWS 1130) — Surrey’s mayor is taking a few days off following a “health concern” that required medical care this weekend.
In a release Tuesday evening, Doug McCallum said the issue has been addressed and is taking his doctor’s advice by taking some time off.
“I will be taking a few days off to rest and recuperate,” he said.
In a release, he wouldn't say what the issue was – but adds the problem did require medical attention. He says he will be returning back to work next Monday, just in time for the next regular Council Meeting. @NEWS1130 https://t.co/yDsvM4Slsx pic.twitter.com/P1BxANVAm4
