Kelowna warning for COVID-19 Canada Day cases expands to restaurant, spin studio

KELOWNA (NEWS 1130) — Interior Health has released more details about locations where people may have been exposed to COVID-19 around Canada Day.
Friday, the health authority issued a sweeping warning encompassing the “downtown and waterfront areas” between June 26 and July 6.
Sunday, details about two specific locations were released.
Anyone who was at the Cactus Club on Water St., between July 3 and 6 is being asked to monitor for symptoms.
A similar warning goes out to anyone who was at Pace Spin Studio on Harvey Avenue on July 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9.

People who “attended private gatherings” at the Discovery Bay Resort from July 1 to July 5, or the Gyro Beach Lodge on July 1 were warned Saturday, and are now being asked to self-isolate for 14 days.
Interior Health is continuing contact tracing and will directly contact anyone who they learn has been exposed.
