Broadway season won’t hit Vancouver stage until January

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Hamilton and Anastasia won’t hit the Queen Elizabeth Theatre stage in Vancouver until the new year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Broadway Across Canada announced Monday its season will be postponed until the start of 2021.
The new touring schedule will see Anastasia at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver in late January, while Come From Away is set for March. Hamilton is to run through June and July, and Jesus Christ Superstar arrives in October.

“We thank all of our subscribers for their continued patience and understanding as we diligently worked to reschedule our season in order to ensure that we are following the guidance of the health officials to keep all artists, audiences and staff healthy and safe,” says a release from Broadway Across Canada.
Tickets previously purchased will remain valid for the new dates.
