Vancouver man dies in West End stabbing

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A 41-year-old Vancouver man is dead after a stabbing in the West End.
Police say the man was stabbed Monday night. Officers were called to the area of Thurlow and Comox streets around 8:30 p.m. where the man was found. He was taken to the hospital but died of his injuries.

No one has been arrested and police say they have not yet identified a suspect. However, investigators believe the attack was targetted and that there is no risk to the public.
This is the city’s ninth homicide of the year.
