BERWYN, Pa. (AP) _ Trinseo SA (TSE) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $128.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of $3.36. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, came to $2.95 per share.
The plastics and latex maker posted revenue of $569.7 million in the period.
Trinseo shares have decreased 28% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $26.90, a drop of 31% in the last 12 months.
