Victoria Police warn used needle found tied to railing near Beacon Hill Park

VICTORIA (NEWS 1130) — A used needle was found tied to a staircase railing near a popular walking path, and Victoria Police believe it was meant to hurt someone.
The needle was found Sunday night around 5 p.m. with a small amount of blood on it near Beacon Hill Park.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and are bumping up nightly patrols around the park area.
