ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — The body of a man who went missing near Sumas Mountain was found Friday by Abbotsford Police and search team members.
Brook Morrison, 26, was first reported missing on Wednesday. His body was found just before noon in an area off Straiton Road in Abbotsford.
“Foul play is not suspected,” Sgt. Judy Bird says. “This is a tragic outcome for a missing person investigation that began just over three days ago.”

The BC Coroners Service is now investigating.
Police, along with Fraser Valley Search and Rescue, initially used Morrison’s cell phone tracking to the area of Eagle Mountain and Ledgeview.
They didn’t know if he was equipped for hiking or the cooler weather.
He was last heard from Tuesday at 5:45 p.m., when he left his home in the Clearbrook Road area in Abbotsford to go for a walk and did not return.
