One man dead, another in hospital after suspected targeted shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) — A shooting in Richmond Friday night has left one man dead and another in hospital in what police believe is a targetted shooting.
Around 7:30 p.m., Mounties responded to a call near Capstan Way and Garden City Road.
The shooting took place at a Japanese restaurant, where bullet holes could be seen in the windows.
Both men were taken to hospital where one later died from his injuries. The survivor’s condition is unknown.
IHIT is now involved in the investigation.

This marked the third straight day of targeted shooting in Metro Vancouver.
On Thursday, a shooting in Surrey left one person in hospital.
