Shots exchanged at Richmond gas station in ‘targeted’ incident: RCMP

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) — Gunshots were exchanged between two vehicles at a Richmond gas station late Thursday in what RCMP call a “targeted incident.”

Officers responded to a report of shots fire at about 11:35 p.m. at the gas station near the intersection of No. 3 and Blundell roads.

People in the two vehicles, one black, the other white, traded shots before speeding away.

“At this time, this matter appears to be a targeted incident,” says a release from Richmond RCMP. “Fortunately, no bystanders were injured in the event.”

One vehicle was last seen eastbound on Westminster Highway. The other was last seen northbound on No. 2 Road.

Other drivers in the area at the time are asked to review their dashcam video to see if they may have footage of the vehicles involved.
