SURREY (NEWS 1130) — A COVID-19 exposure alert has been issued for an elementary school in Surrey.
According to Fraser Health, the exposure happened at Latimer Road Elementary on Sept. 10.
Contact tracing has begun to inform any individuals that will need to self-isolate.
Superintendent Jordan Tinney said in a tweet the notice went out Friday. The letter said if a letter or phone call was not received, students should still attend school and monitor for coronavirus symptoms.
