Shots fired in Cloverdale were targeted: RCMP

CLOVERDALE (NEWS 1130) — Shots fired in a commercial area of Cloverdale late Thursday are believed to have been targeted, according to Surrey RCMP.
Officers responded to a call about shots heard in the area of 64 Avenue near 152 Street just before 10:30 p.m.
They found evidence confirming a shooting had occurred, but no suspects and no one was injured.

“Early indications are that this shooting was a targeted incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” says a release from RCMP.
The targeted shots in Cloverdale are the latest in the Lower Mainland, from Vancouver to Richmond, Langley and Abbotsford.
