SURREY (NEWS 1130) — One man is dead, and another has been arrested following a stabbing Thursday in Surrey, according to RCMP.
Shortly after 10 p.m., RCMP says it received a call of an assault with a weapon inside a home near 109 Avenue and 128A Street.
Once officers arrived, they say one man surrendered himself to police.
Officers then found a “critically injured” man inside. While paramedics provided treatment, he died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect is in custody, but no charges have been laid while the investigation continues.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in and will work with Surrey RCMP.
Mounties didn’t provide any additional information.
