Protesters in Vancouver set up tents, take over intersection

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — About 25 protesters with tents blocked the intersection of Main and Hastings streets Wednesday evening.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, officers were on the scene “should anything arise.”
Constable Tania Visintin says demonstrators protested homelessness and defunding the police.
