VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Police are trying to piece together details in what they call a suspicious situation where three men carry a woman into an SUV early Wednesday morning in the Marpole area.

Officers were notified of a disturbance around 2 a.m. Oct. 28 near Ash Street and West 59th Avenue, according to a release from the Vancouver Police Department. Surveillance video shows an altercation between a man and woman along West 59th shortly before two men drive up in a white SUV.

The three men then carried the woman into the SUV and left before police arrived, according to the VPD.

Police say the woman may have blonde, medium-length hair. At the time, she was wearing a black winter jacket with light-coloured faux fur on the collar, black tights, and knee-high boots.

The men were wearing dark clothing.

“The security footage shows that the SUV involved may be a white, 2014 to 2018 Porsche Cayenne GTS,” says Const. Jason Doucette. “At this point, there’s not enough information to determine what actually took place, so our investigators would like to speak to the four people who left in the Porsche to ensure everyone is okay.”

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the people involved is urged to call the VPD at 604-717-2541 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
