Massey Tunnel reopens after closure due to water leak

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) –The Massey Tunnel was closed for about two hours during the Friday afternoon commute after “an oversized vehicle struck a sprinkler head,” according to the province.
The incident at the north end of the tunnel shut down all traffic northbound and had southbound traffic down to a single lane, causing major delays around 3 p.m.

The tunnel was reopened around 5 p.m.
