COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) — A senior who was hit by a vehicle in Coquitlam Saturday afternoon is in hospital with life-threatening injuries, including a broken spine and ribs.

Coquitlam RCMP confirm they were called to intersection of Falcon Drive and Harrier Drive around 1 p.m.

The driver is cooperating while police investigate, according to Mounties.

Anyone who was in the area or has dashcam footage is being asked to call Coquitlam RCMP at (604) 945-1550.
