South Surrey pedestrian suffers life threatening injuries after being hit by car

SURREY (NEWS 1130) — One person is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in South Surrey Monday.

Police were called to North Bluff Road and Best Street, near Peace Arch Hospital, around 7 p.m.

“The pedestrian has been transported to local area hospital in serious condition with life-threatening injuries,” reads a statement from Surrey RCMP.

“The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is cooperating. The incident is still under investigation.”
