Gang-related stabbing in downtown Vancouver restaurant sends two men to hospital

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — People eating dinner at a downtown Vancouver restaurant found themselves caught up in a gang-related stabbing Friday.

Officers were called to the restaurant on Nelson near Hornby streets around 4:30 p.m. where they found a white man and a South Asian man, in their late 20s, with stab wounds.

The two were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The VPD believes the attack is gang-related and there is no immediate risk to the public.

No arrests have been made yet.
