RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) — One vehicle, two scooters, and two four-foot-tall Nutcracker figurines were among stolen property seized by Richmond Mounties after they searched three properties linked to “a multi-jurisdictional crime group committing frauds throughout the province.”

A release from RCMP says search warrants were executed two properties in Richmond, and one in Vancouver Saturday.

“As a result of the search warrant executions, a stolen vehicle and two stolen scooters were recovered, as well as items associated to the production of fraudulent identification cards and credit cards,”  reads a release.

“The investigation also netted the arrests of two people on outstanding warrants, and three people on fraud charges. Notably, amongst the suspected stolen property recovered were 2 4-foot-tall ‘Nutcracker’ figurines.”

The operation closed a section of Camnie Road for a couple of hours.
