Four residents of the Abbotsford care home have tested positive for the coronavirus

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at a care home in Abbotsford after four residents tested positive, according to Fraser Health.

The health authority announced the outbreak at the Mayfair Senior Living & Care Centre Sunday.

“A Fraser Health rapid response team is at the site. Communication with residents and families is underway,” reads a release.

“The residents are currently in self-isolation.”

Meantime, an outbreak at Royal City Manor in New Westminster has been declared over.
