18-year-old Delta man charged with sexual assault of two young boys

DELTA (NEWS 1130) — Delta police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a sexual assault of two boys in Tsawwassen over the weekend.
The 18-year-old's name can't be revealed because of a publication ban & is facing several charges. They include 2 of sexual assault, 2 counts of sexual interference & 1 count of assault. On Sunday two young boys were playing at the South Delta Secondary School where a male suspect “allegedly tried to grab them by their arms, before touching the boys in a sexual manner,” police said Monday.

In a release on Wednesday police say the 18-year-old’s name can’t be revealed because of a publication ban.
He is facing several charges, including two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, and one count of assault.
The suspect arrested has to abide by several court-imposed conditions and is not allowed near any park, community center or swimming area where people under 16 are present.
He’ll be in court in early February.
