SURREY (NEWS 1130) — A pair of care homes are dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks, according to Fraser Health.
Five residents and two staff members tested positive for the virus at Rideau Retirement in Burnaby, and two staff members at Brookside Lodge in Surrey are infected.
There are some new #COVID19 outbreaks in care homes, according to @Fraserhealth. One is at the Rideau Retirement Residence in Burnaby (5 residents, 2 staff members), the other in Brookside Lodge in Surrey (2 staff members). Everyone involved is isolating.

Both homes are owned and operated by Sienna Senior living.
All those infected are currently isolating while contact tracers inform anyone who may have been exposed.
The outbreak at Agassiz Seniors Community is over.
