LANGLEY (CityNews) — A Langley woman is outraged after she caught her food delivery driver on camera sticking his hand down the back of his pants, opening the bag containing her food, and then rubbing his hands on the order.
On Sunday, Mai Nguyen and her boyfriend ordered food through SkipTheDishes. When they got a notification from the food delivery app that their order had arrived, they checked the security camera to confirm who was at their door, and that’s when they caught the disturbing sight.
“When I saw that I was furious. I messaged him and said, ‘Hey I’m going to send that footage to the company of you picking your butt.” He just ended the chat and said, ‘Thanks for choosing SkipTheDishes,'” she says.
“I want him to be fired. I don’t want the money or whatever, I just don’t want him to do this to someone else because he could be delivering right now.”

Since the incident, Nguyen says she has contacted the company multiple times to complain about the driver. As far as she knows he is still an employee. Meanwhile, she has received $7 as compensation, credited to her account.
“I just thought of all the other deliveries I’ve ordered, and I just felt very disgusted. Imagine if I didn’t catch that on camera and I ate it? How many other people has he done this to?” Nguyen asks.
Nguyen is also particularly shaken by the incident due to the blatant disregard for health and safety precautions during a global pandemic.
CityNews reached out to SkipTheDishes for comment, and to find out whether the driver is still delivering for the company. No reply was received in time for broadcast.
