Man hurt after shots fired call in Langley

LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) – Mounties in Langley found a man who was hurt Thursday night after responding to a shots fired call in the city.
When investigators arrived in the area near 82 Avenue and 200 Street at around 8:30 p.m., they weren’t able to find a victim, but police were told that some kind of vehicle was heard speeding away from the scene.
CORRECTION: @LangleyRCMP says it responded to a call of shots fired last night around 82 Ave & 200 St. They later learned a man was the intended victim of the shots; the person is cooperating w/police. The man had minor injuries from broken glass after the shots were fired.

Eventually, a stolen Audi was found with no one inside.
Not long after, investigators were contacted by a man who said he was the victim of the shots. Mounties say his injuries were only minor and were due to broken glass that shattered during the shooting. He was in his car at the time.
Langley RCMP says this is thought to be a targeted shooting and the investigation continues.
