Family, friends of missing Port Moody woman continues plea for information

PORT MOODY (NEWS 1130) – The family and friends of missing Port Moody woman Trina Hunt aren’t giving up in their search for the 48-year-old.

They’ve release a video on social media, with the hopes of continuing to spread awareness about Hunt’s disappearance.

“You can help by sharing this video across your social media accounts,” a post with the video reads.

It features the latest information available about her last known whereabouts, as well as pictures of Hunt and some messages posted on social media by loved ones for her.

Hunt appears to have vanished from her home without a trace. She was last seen there around 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 18. She was last thought to be wearing a puffy black North Face branded jacket with a teal green collar and purple running shoes.

Her husband reported her missing later that day after he didn’t find her at home when he returned from work.

The volunteer search effort was put on hold last week, but police continue to investigate. Those closest to her have also vowed to not give up hope.

A virtual candlelight vigil was held for Hunt on Sunday.

If you have any information about Hunt’s whereabouts, you’re asked to contact Port Moody police at 604.461.3456.
