Arrest made in groping of Surrey youth

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A man has been arrested after a youth was groped at a Surrey park in the Newton area.
Mounties say the incident happened on Thursday just before 1 p.m. Two youths were at Pioneer Park when one of them was “groped from behind by an unknown man.”

The minor was not physically hurt and reported what happened to the RCMP.
A 65-year-old man was arrested for sexual assault. He will be released with several conditions, which includes staying away from Surrey schools and parks, according to RCMP.
Charges haven’t been laid while the investigation continues.
