Man pleads guilty to 13 break and enters around Lower Mainland

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A Surrey man has pleaded guilty to 13 charges linked to multiple break and enters around the Lower Mainland between 2019 and 2020.

According to a statement from the Surrey RCMP, the investigation started in May 2019 after a business near 160 Street and the Fraser Highway was broken into. Officers noted “unique characteristics of how the offence was committed,” before connecting the break-in to others and identifying a suspect.

Anthony Vossler was charged May 5, 2020 for four break and enters in Surrey and Langley that happened in November and December of 2019. He was arrested and later released pending court proceedings.

Over the course of the investigation, Vosser was implicated in more break-ins.

Last Wednesday he was charged with an additional nine offences in Surrey, Burnaby, Delta, and Coquitlam between December 2019 and April 2020. He pleaded guilty to all 13 charges the same day.
