‘Suspicious’ death in Surrey, homicide team called in

SURREY (NEWS 1130) — Homicide investigators have been called to Surrey Friday night after Mounties found a “deceased male.”
Almost no details are being released, but Surrey RCMP say they are treating the death of a man as “suspicious,” and have called in the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
Police were called to the area of 66 Avenue and 193 Street around 7:15.

“Upon police attendance, a deceased male was located. Surrey RCMP are treating the death as suspicious at this time, and are currently in the evidence-gathering phase,” reads a statement.
