Whistler records more than two dozen new cases of COVID-19

WHISTLER (NEWS 1130) – Whistler has recorded 26 more cases of COVID-19, bringing the total case count since Jan. 1 to 702.
Vancouver Coastal Health reports that’s 36 fewer cases from the previous week.
VCH also says most people who have tested positive are young adults who live at the resort, with transmission still mainly happening in “household settings.”

Earlier this week, we learned nearly half of businesses inspected by WorkSafeBC on Jan. 30 and 31 were issued orders for pandemic-related violations.
