Delta police investigating of ‘indecent act’ in park

DELTA (NEWS 1130) — Police are patrolling near a park in North Delta after a woman reported an “indecent act” Thursday night.
A woman was walking near the parking lot of the North Delta Community Park when she saw a man “touching himself inappropriately,” according to a statement from the Delta Police Department.
“Police are continuing to patrol the area, however because this incident wasn’t reported until the following day, police did not find anyone matching the description of the suspect.”
The man is described as South Asian, between the ages of 20 and 30, tall, with a slim build, dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a blue hoodie, underneath a jean jacket vest at the time of the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information to call (604) 946 4411, and quote file #21-5477.
Spokesperson Cris Leykauf says anyone who sees something like this happening to call 911 immediately.
Police issued a similart statement in October of 2020.
