DELTA (NEWS 1130) – Anyone Delta who needs a ride to a COVID-19 vaccination clinic now have a free option.
The City has turned three senior shuttle buses into transportation to the immunization clinics in North and South Delta. The buses had been out of commission during the pandemic and Mayor George Harvie says it’s great they can be put to use again.
“What we want to do as council, and myself as mayor, is ensure we do everything possible to give everybody in Delta an equal chance to get vaccinated,” he said.
The City of Delta is providing a free transportation service for Delta residents to the Fraser Health COVID-19 Immunization Clinics in Delta.
