Man guilty of Vancouver homicide fails to show in court, warrant out for arrest

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver police are looking for a 61-year-old man who didn’t show up for his sentencing hearing.

Thomas Toth was found guilty of manslaughter in the death of an elderly man in December, 2017. He pushed a man in his 80s to the ground outside the Costco on Expo Boulevard. The man hit his head and later died of his injuries.

Toth was supposed to attend a sentencing hearing on March 5 but failed to show. A Canada-wide warrant has now been issued for his arrest.

Toth is described as white, 6’2″ and about 250lbs.
