One of three American bulldog puppies stolen from South Surrey home found

SURREY (NEWS 1130) — One of the three American bulldog puppies stolen from a South Surrey home over the weekend has been recovered.

Police have rescued Rosie, who was sold at a Mission car show over the weekend.

The Surrey RCMP believes the other two pups could have also been sold in a similar way and the search is still on for them.

Over the weekend, the puppies’ owners arrived at their house on 8th Avenue near 176 Street to discover that someone had broken in, and their three Lilac American Bulldog puppies were gone.

“Our animals, our pets are parts of our families,” Cpl. Joanie Sidhu told NEWS 1130 Monday. “The family is concerned, and they are hoping we are able to recover them, and we are doing everything we can.”

This investigation is still ongoing and officers are now looking for any witnesses or anyone with information about this break and enter to come forward.

If you have information, you’re asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca.
