VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Dinner and drinks served under the eaves of BC Place stadium have gone from a daydream to a reality, as The Victor is expanding its outdoor seating to accommodate more diners under the stars!
While the restaurant was already using the D6 Bar and Lounge’s outdoor patio area to accommodate about 50 guests safely in its covered and outdoor patio space, new socially-distant seating has now been arranged around the park and pond for fine outdoor dining for many more guests.
The Victor spokesperson Tara Armstrong also said “Part of the patio officially opened on Monday the 12th,” after having previously being shut down from operating indoor service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Armstrong adds, even though people were seated out on the new expansion before opening date, she and her team “were still awaiting umbrellas, etc., for it to be fully operating.”
According to General Manager Natalia Primiceri, the new outdoor dining area around the pond has 14 tables, and comfortably sits a maximum of 44 guests.
So far, guests have been impressed, and “loving the dining by the pond/ water feature idea,” says Primiceri, adding the “BC Place lights give a lovely shimmer to the evening in the outdoor area, which is now becoming the most desirable of all.”
She adds, it’s a hit with team members as well. “Staff is very appreciative to all the ideas and efforts made to create an extended outdoor dining area… We have come together as one more than ever, everyone is really engaged and excited!”
The open-air courtyard can be found on the 6th floor of Parq Vancouver, and — weather permitting — will be open from 4pm daily.
The Victor’s full menu is available to order on the patio, and features caviar, fresh seafood, mouthwatering steaks, and desserts like their crème brûlée donuts — complete with gold foil.
