LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — On Sunday, Fraser Health announced a drop-in vaccination clinic for South Langley residents, but the site people were told to go to says it’s not happening.
A post online says residents of South Langley Township who are 40 and older do not need an appointment to get the shot at the Langley Event Centre. However, when NEWS 1130 reached out to the venue they said such an event was never scheduled.
Fraser Health, in an email, says some people who drop in will be able to receive a shot.
“We expanded availability today to include a drop-in option in addition to booked appointments. We will continue to offer vaccine to as many eligible drop-ins as possible, pending supply,” it reads.
