Man, woman in life-threatening condition after head-on crash in Burnaby

BURNABY (NEWS 1130) – A man and woman are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash in Burnaby on Wednesday.
It happened at around 3 p.m. on Canada Way near Imperial Street. RCMP say a sedan collided with a pick-up truck.
Three people who were in the sedan were taken to the hospital. On Thursday, RCMP confirmed two of those patients are now fighting for their lives, while the third has serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck was not hurt, RCMP said, but stayed at the scene and has been cooperating with police.
