ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Health authorities recommend all staff and students of Abbotsford Christian School get tested for COVID-19, as the school deals with several cases of the virus.
The notice from Fraser Health says people who attended the middle or secondary school between April 26 and 30, and May 3 and 7 should get tested.
“As you know, the ACS middle and secondary campuses have been dealing with the reality of a COVID-19 cluster affecting several students and staff,” a letter to families from the school reads. “As a result, we functionally closed grades 5-12.”
The school says that closure is being extended though Friday, May 21, with classes not expected to resume until after the May long weekend.
