Man charged with second-degree murder in Vancouver stabbing

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

Vancouver police were called out to Joyce Street and Vanness Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Saturday and when they got there they found a 59-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

He was rushed to the hospital but passed away on Monday.

Investigators say the two knew each other but they’re not venturing a motive right now.

The man in custody is Rajesh Narayan, who is known to police.
